Ingrid Kupczik has been working as a freelance journalist and author for many years. She strives to present even very complicated issues in a refreshing, enlightening and understandable manner. She works for publishing houses and other companies, writes texts in all formats, composes speeches, develops and implements communication campaigns and draws up leadership communication. Her fields of specialization include medicine/health and industry and her clients include companies in aircraft construction, medical facilities as well as publishing houses.
Following dance-teacher training, Ingrid Kupczik studied French, Physical Education and Pedagogy at the University of Hamburg, receiving a teaching degree for secondary schools. Thereafter, she taught German at high schools in Rouen, France, for one year before deciding to pursue a career in journalism. Her freelance editorial work at the magazine ”Cinema” and the daily newspaper ”Die Welt” led to Ingrid Kupczik’s editorial traineeship at the „LübeckerNachrichten“. She worked there as an editor (magazine, consumer, children) and then gained even more experience at the women’s magazine ”petra” (report) and as an editor for an extended period of time at the ”WELT am SONNTAG”, a well-known Sunday newspaper in Germany, with a responsibility for the general section as well as medicine/science/technology. In 2010, Ingrid Kupczik became self-employed.
